Sichuan Expressway secures 28.5bn yuan expressway expansion project

Sichuan Expressway Company Limited has signed a concession agreement for the G5 Beijing-Kunming Expressway Chengdu to Ya'an section expansion project, with an estimated investment of 28.548 billion yuan.

The project will operate under a Build-Operate-Transfer model with a 29-year, 305-day operating and toll collection period following construction. As part of a consortium, Sichuan Expressway will commit 100 million yuan in toll revenue as an operating performance guarantee.
