Hainan Airlines reports strong cargo growth in July

Hainan Airlines Holding reported cargo and mail transport revenue tonne kilometers rising 32.50% in July to 189.96 million, with year-to-date growth of 38.82% to 1.166 billion.

Revenue passenger kilometers increased 3.15% in July to 12.92 billion, while passenger numbers rose just 0.19% to 6.75 million. The overall load factor improved to 86.51%, up 1.31 percentage points.

The airline added six aircraft in July while retiring two, bringing its total fleet to 352 aircraft.
