Air China reports mixed July results amid route changes

Air China reported mixed operational results for July 2025, with total passenger capacity up 2.3% and passenger turnover rising 2.2% year-on-year.

However, domestic passenger capacity fell 0.4% while international capacity surged 10.3%. The overall passenger load factor was 80.1%, down 0.1 percentage points.

Cargo operations performed better, with cargo capacity increasing 3.3% and cargo turnover rising 7.9%. The cargo load factor improved 1.8 percentage points to 42.9%.

The airline added three new aircraft and retired two A330 series planes during the month.
