Metallurgical Corporation of China contracts fall 18.5% despite overseas surge

Metallurgical Corporation of China reported new contract signings of RMB 6,113.4 billion in the first seven months of 2025, down 18.5% year-over-year.

However, overseas contracts surged 38.0% to RMB 612.6 billion. Major July signings included a RMB 79.0 billion coke and tail gas project, plus energy storage and urban reconstruction contracts worth RMB 15.2 billion and RMB 10.1 billion respectively.
