Hengfeng Paper delays acquisition response to exchange

Mudanjiang Hengfeng Paper has requested an extension to reply to the Shanghai Stock Exchange's inquiry about its application to acquire 100% of Sichuan Jinfeng Paper through a share issuance.

The company said the inquiry involves matters requiring further verification, preventing it from meeting the original one-month deadline. It has applied for up to one month's extension.

The acquisition remains subject to approval by the Shanghai Stock Exchange and securities regulator.
