Yutong Bus production jumps 48% despite sales decline

Yutong Bus Co reported July production surged 48% year-on-year to 3,849 units, driven by a 71% increase in large bus manufacturing to 2,263 units.

However, sales fell 4% to 3,219 units due to a 21% decline in large bus sales to 1,570 units. Light bus sales provided a bright spot, jumping 44% to 706 units.

Year-to-date production rose 6% to 25,262 units while sales increased 3% to 24,540 units.
