China Shipbuilding Defense abolishes supervisory board in governance overhaul

China Shipbuilding Defense abolished its supervisory board and amended its articles of association at an extraordinary shareholder meeting, with 99.85% of votes in favor.

The company also revised rules governing board meetings, shareholder meetings, and multiple management systems including related party transactions, external guarantees, and investment oversight. All resolutions passed with over 99.8% approval from shareholders representing 55.5% of total voting shares.
