Huaneng Power raises 2bn yuan in super short-term bonds

Huaneng Power International raised 2 billion yuan through its sixth tranche of super short-term commercial papers for 2025. The 99-day bonds were issued at a 1.43% yield.

The company will use proceeds to supplement working capital, adjust debt structure and repay bank loans and maturing bonds. Total outstanding debt financing instruments remain capped at 170 billion yuan equivalent.
