Shanghai Electric announces management overhaul and governance reform

Shanghai Electric Group announced the departure of directors and senior management including Dong Jianhua, Yang Hong, and Fu Min, effective July 22, 2025. The company appointed new senior management: Hu Xupeng as board secretary, Qiu Jiayou as vice president, Wei Xudong as chief financial officer, Zhang Yan as chief legal counsel, and Qiao Yinping as chief operating officer.

The company proposed abolishing its supervisory board, transferring functions to the board's audit committee. Shanghai Electric will also provide a €300m guarantee for Broetje-Automation and its subsidiaries to Airbus, effective until September 2031.
