Shenergy power generation falls 1.7% despite renewable surge

Shenergy Co., Ltd.'s controlled power generation fell 1.7% to 25.951 billion kWh in the first half of 2025, as coal-fired output dropped 6.8% to 17.87 billion kWh.

However, renewable energy surged with wind power up 19.9% to 3.301 billion kWh and photovoltaic generation rising 13.4% to 1.648 billion kWh, driven by new capacity additions.

Natural gas power increased 3.5% to 3.132 billion kWh. Total controlled installed capacity grew 8.71% to 18.5939 million kW by June 2025.
