Haohua Energy coal revenue drops 21% amid methanol surge

Beijing Haohua Energy reported mixed second-quarter results, with self-produced coal sales revenue falling 20.89% to CNY 166,422 and gross profit plummeting 48.48% to CNY 55,411 due to sharp coal price declines.

However, methanol operations showed strong improvement, with gross profit surging 56.07% to CNY 2,327 in Q2, benefiting from lower raw coal costs. For the first half, methanol gross profit jumped 388.83% to CNY 4,195.

Railway transportation revenue also grew strongly, up 35.56% to CNY 4,697 in the quarter.
