Shuangliang Eco-Energy forecasts substantial first-half loss

Shuangliang Eco-Energy Systems forecasts a net loss of 50-65m yuan for the first half of 2025, with losses excluding non-recurring items projected at 52-67m yuan.

The company attributed the expected loss to its significant exposure to photovoltaic monocrystalline silicon products. A surge in domestic photovoltaic demand influenced by "Document No. 136" was followed by a second-quarter slowdown, combined with declining prices across the photovoltaic industry chain, reducing profitability in the monocrystalline silicon business.
