Huaneng Lancang River Hydropower raises 3bn yuan bonds

Huaneng Lancang River Hydropower has completed issuance of 3 billion yuan in green technology innovation bonds across two tranches.

The sixth tranche raised 1 billion yuan at 1.50% interest for 198 days, while the seventh tranche totaled 2 billion yuan at 1.88% for 3 years.

Following the issuances, the company's short-term financing bills balance stands at 5.2 billion yuan and medium-term notes at 18 billion yuan. Bond proceeds will repay interest-bearing liabilities.

The issuances fall within the company's approved 34 billion yuan debt financing limit.
