Baiyun Airport forecasts up to 90% profit jump

Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport Co forecasts net profit of RMB 679m to RMB 830m for the first half of 2025, representing a 55% to 90% increase from RMB 438m in the same period last year.

The growth was driven by operational improvements, with aircraft movements up 7%, passenger throughput rising 9.2%, and cargo throughput increasing 2% compared to the previous year.

Non-recurring gains also contributed significantly to the projected performance increase.
