Anhui Expressway awards 131m yuan tunnel construction contract

Anhui Expressway announced its subsidiary Anqing Bridge Company entered a general contracting agreement worth 131.6 million yuan for design and construction of a tunnel emergency management station.

The contract covers the G4221 Shanghai-Wuhan Expressway's Yuewu section new tunnel, including architectural, road, traffic safety and landscaping works. Design costs account for 5.2 million yuan, with construction taking 126.4 million yuan.

The agreement was awarded through public tender to a consortium comprising connected parties through Anhui Jiaokong Group.
