Science Publishing announces CNY 0.274 per share dividend

China Science Publishing & Media has announced its 2024 annual equity distribution plan, which includes a cash dividend of CNY 0.274 per share. The distribution plan was approved at the company's annual general meeting on May 21, 2025.

The record date for A-shares is set for July 16, 2025, with the ex-date and cash dividend distribution date both scheduled for July 17, 2025. The total cash dividend payout will amount to CNY 216,597,000, based on the company's total share capital of 790,500,000 shares.

The company will distribute dividends to shareholders registered on the record date, with specific arrangements for different types of investors, including Qualified Foreign Institutional Investors (QFII) and Hong Kong market investors holding shares through Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect. These investors will be subject to varying tax treatments in accordance with applicable regulations and tax treaties. Domestic institutional investors and legal entity shareholders will receive the dividends without withholding tax, and are responsible for paying their taxes at the place where income occurred.

China Science Publishing & Media will handle dividend payments directly to major shareholders including China Science Publishing & Media Group, Electronic Industry Press, and People's Posts and Telecommunications Publishing House.
