Opple Lighting to cancel restricted stock awards

Opple Lighting Co., Ltd. [SSE:603515] announced it will cancel 1,331,282 restricted shares awarded under its 2023 and 2024 equity incentive plans. The cancellation is due to the departure of some incentive recipients and other recipients failing to meet personal performance standards. The cancelled shares are expected to be cancelled by July 14, 2025, after which the company will register a capital reduction. Opple has completed notification to creditors and received no objections. After the cancellation, the total number of restricted shares outstanding for the 2023 plan will be 3,549,100, and the number of restricted shares outstanding for the 2024 plan will be 5,239,218.
