Inner Mongolia chemical unit secures mining rights

China National Salt Inner Mongolia Chemical Industry announced that its joint-stock company, China National Salt (Inner Mongolia) Alkali Industry Co., Ltd., has officially secured natural alkali mining rights in Inner Mongolia. The mining rights were obtained through a contract signed with the Tongliao City Natural Resources Bureau on July 9, 2025. China National Salt (Inner Mongolia) Alkali Industry acquired the rights at a cost of CNY 6.8086 billion. The mining rights are located in Naiman Banner, Tongliao City, and cover an area of 28.85 square kilometers. The initial registration period for the mining rights is 30 years, commencing from the effective date of the mining permit.
