ICBC announces 2024 A-share dividend distribution plan

Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC) has announced its plan to distribute a cash dividend of CNY 0.1646 per A-share (before tax) for the year 2024. The total cash dividend payout will amount to approximately CNY 586.64 billion, with CNY 443.78 billion allocated to A-share dividends. The equity registration date is set for July 11, 2025, and the ex-rights date is July 14, 2025, coinciding with the cash dividend distribution date. The announcement details the distribution plan approved at the 2024 Annual General Meeting, differing tax treatments for various A-share holders, including individuals, resident enterprises, and qualified foreign institutional investors (QFIIs), as well as specific procedures for Hong Kong Stock Connect investors.
