Guangzhou airport reports strong passenger throughput growth in June

Guangzhou Baiyun International Airport (SSE:600004) announced its June 2025 production and operation data, revealing a notable surge in passenger traffic. Total passenger throughput reached 6,449,890, representing an 11.74% year-over-year increase. Domestic routes contributed significantly to this growth, with 5,105,752 passengers, a 10.07% rise compared to the previous year. International routes also saw substantial gains, with passenger numbers increasing by 19.29% to 1,290,488. Aircraft takeoffs and landings increased to 43,787, a 9.63% increase. Cargo and mail throughput experienced a more modest growth of 2.38%, totaling 204,365.69 tonnes. The announcement was released by the Board of Directors on July 8, 2025.
