CECEP Wind Power invests in green energy project

CECEP Wind Power Corp. announced an investment in the “Qianqi Project”, a 500-megawatt industrial park green power supply project located in Inner Mongolia. The total investment is valued at CNY 2,090 million. The project will be split between the Right Banner and Xinghe County, managed by subsidiaries CECEP (Right Banner) Wind Power Co. and CECEP (Inner Mongolia) Wind Power Co. respectively. The project is expected to be fully operational by the end of 2026. CECEP Wind Power will fund 20% of the Qianqi Project through equity, with the remainder to be financed through loans. The company acknowledges potential construction and electricity grid risks, and will implement risk management.
