China Publishing Media announces 2024 dividend payout

China Publishing & Media Co., Ltd. (SSE:601949) has announced the implementation of its 2024 annual equity distribution plan, approved at the company’s shareholder meeting on June 30, 2025. The company will distribute a cash dividend of CNY 0.102 per share (before tax) based on a total share capital of 1,903,968,054 shares, totaling CNY 194,204,741.51. The record date is set for July 11, 2025, with the ex-dividend date and payment date both scheduled for July 14, 2025. The dividend distribution will be handled through China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation Limited (CSDCC) for A-share investors. Qualified Foreign Institutional Investors (QFII) will be subject to a 10% withholding tax, resulting in a net dividend of CNY 0.0918 per share, while other institutional investors are responsible for self-assessment and payment of corporate income tax. Hong Kong Stock Exchange investors will also receive a net dividend of CNY 0.0918 per share. Individual investors' tax will be based on their holding period.
