Shanghai Electric buys back A shares on SSE

On July 4, 2025, Shanghai Electric Group Company (SSE: 601727) announced that it had repurchased 1,500,000 A shares on the Shanghai Stock Exchange. The buyback was executed at a price range of between RMB 7.30 and RMB 7.31 per share, resulting in a total expenditure of RMB 10,957,000. The shares are intended to be cancelled. To date, Shanghai Electric Group Company has bought back a total of 12,604,300 A shares, to be cancelled. As of July 4, 2025, Shanghai Electric Group Company's total number of issued shares is 12,655,327,092.
