Ningbo Zhoushan Port Company (SSE:601018) has announced preliminary production data for June and the first half of 2025, indicating substantial growth in cargo handling. The port anticipates container throughput of 4.454 million TEU for June, representing a 10.2% year-over-year increase. Total cargo throughput for the month is projected to reach 101.25 million tons, a 7.6% increase compared to the same period last year. For the first half of 2025, the port estimates cumulative container throughput at 25.47 million TEU, up 9.8% from the previous year, and total cargo throughput at 600.97 million tons, reflecting a 4.7% year-over-year increase. The company advises that these figures are preliminary and subject to change, urging investors to exercise caution. The announcement was made by the board of directors on July 5, 2025.
