Power Construction Corp signs major Guinea mining deal

Power Construction Corporation of China (Power China) has announced that its subsidiary, China Water Resources and Hydropower Engineering Group, has signed a significant mining and transportation contract in Guinea. The agreement, with Guinea's KEBO Bauxite Mining and Huaxing High-Tech (Beijing) Business Development, covers mining operations in the Telimele Madina Dian region. The project involves exploration, overburden stripping, waste mining, extraction, and transportation of bauxite across an area of 204.37 square kilometers. The total mining volume is estimated at 28 million tons, with land transportation extending approximately 197 kilometers. The contract is valued at approximately CNY 50.63 million, with a total construction period of 72 months and no quality guarantee period. The project is located in the Madina Dian area of Telimele Province in the Kindia region of Guinea.
