Sunong Bank shareholder re-pledges stake after partial release

Jiangsu Suzhou Rural Commercial Bank (SSE:603323) announced that shareholder Hengtong Group, holding 6.81% of the company's shares, re-pledged 44.7 million shares on June 23, 2025, to Bohai Bank. This follows the release of 49.17 million previously pledged shares on the same day. The re-pledge increases Hengtong Group's total pledged shares to 105.42 million, representing 76.69% of its holdings and 5.22% of the bank's total share capital. According to the announcement, Hengtong Group's financing is for business operations, and they possess the financial capacity to manage the pledged shares. The company says the re-pledge won't significantly impact the bank's operations or governance. Approximately CNY 57.6 million of Hengtong's pledged shares will mature within the coming year.
