Bank of Communications 2024 AGM approves key resolutions

Bank of Communications (SSE:601328) successfully convened its 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on June 27, 2025, approving several key resolutions. A legal opinion confirmed the validity of the meeting's procedures and results, with shareholders representing 75.6443% of the company's total voting shares in attendance. Key approvals included the 2024 Board of Directors and Supervisory Board work reports, as well as the 2025 fixed asset investment plan. Amendments to the company's articles of association were also passed, alongside the decision to dissolve the Supervisory Board. Separately, the bank announced the departure of external supervisor Chen Hanwen, effective June 27, 2025, due to the completion of his six-year term. The bank expressed its gratitude to Chen for his service and contributions to strengthening supervisory mechanisms and corporate governance. The resignation will not affect the company.
