Chongqing Iron & Steel approves 2024 proposals at AGM

Chongqing Iron & Steel Company (SSE:601005) announced the successful passage of all resolutions at its Annual General Meeting held on June 27, 2025. Key approvals included the 2024 Board of Directors Report, the 2024 Supervisory Board Report, the 2024 financial statements, and the 2024 annual report and its summary. A resolution for the 2024 profit distribution plan was also approved with over 99% shareholder agreement. A resolution concerning the 2025 business plan also passed. Additionally, the meeting saw the approval of the 2024 compensation for directors, supervisors, and senior management, as well as a plan to purchase liability insurance for these individuals. Finally, shareholders approved the reappointment of the current accounting firm for the year 2025. The meeting was held in Chongqing and was attended by shareholders representing over 24% of the company's total shares.
