Zhejiang Juhua invests in 1GW wind farm project

Zhejiang Juhua (SSE:600160) announced that its controlling subsidiary, Gansu Juhua New Materials, will increase its capital in its wholly-owned subsidiary, Juhua New Energy (Yumen) Co., Ltd., to support the construction of a 1GW wind farm project in Yumen, Gansu Province. Gansu Juhua will increase Juhua New Energy's registered capital from CNY 50 million to CNY 850 million, with the investment earmarked for the wind farm. The total project investment is estimated at CNY 3.737 billion, with projected operating profits of CNY 3.419 billion over a 20-year operating period. The company stated that this investment aligns with its green and sustainable development strategy, aiming to reduce production costs, enhance product competitiveness, and promote a green transition. Construction is slated to begin in July 2025, with an expected completion date in April 2026.
