Shanghai Chengtou Holding approves share cancellation and debt notice

Shanghai Chengtou Holding (SSE:600649) announced the resolutions passed at its 2024 Annual General Meeting, including the approval to cancel 25,074,866 repurchased shares and reduce registered capital. The company will change the use of the shares from “for sale” to “for cancellation and reduction of registered capital.” The resolutions were approved by over two-thirds of the voting shares and were also passed after a vote by 5% or less of shareholders.
