China Minsheng Bank approves key resolutions at AGM

China Minsheng Banking Corp (SSE:600016) announced the results of its 2024 Annual General Meeting, where shareholders approved key resolutions including the 2024 annual report, financial statements, and a profit distribution plan. The AGM saw participation from shareholders representing 43.14% of the bank's total voting shares, with voting conducted through a combination of on-site and online platforms. A proposal to re-appoint its accounting firm, including the remuneration of the auditors, was also approved. Shareholders also voted in favor of amending the company's articles of association. The board also approved appointing Mr. Zheng Haiyang as a non-executive director.
