China Eastern Airlines appoints Li Zhiyong as deputy general manager

China Eastern Airlines Co., Ltd. (SSE:600115) announced the appointment of Li Zhiyong as Deputy General Manager, following the approval of the resolution during the company's 5th board meeting of 2025 held on June 23, 2025. Li Zhiyong's term will coincide with the term of the tenth board of directors. Prior to this appointment, Li Zhiyong held the positions of Chief Engineer and Party Committee Member. He has also served as Deputy General Manager of China Eastern Air Group, amongst other roles. Aged 56, Li Zhiyong holds a Master's degree in Aircraft Design from Beijing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics and is a senior engineer by profession.
