Bank of Changsha shareholder Tongcheng unwinds and renews pledge

Bank of Changsha (SSE:601577) announced today that shareholder Tongcheng Industrial has completed the release of 75,100,000 shares previously pledged, representing 48.73% of its holdings and 1.87% of the bank's total share capital. The release took place on June 19, 2025. Simultaneously, Tongcheng Industrial re-pledged the same 75,100,000 shares to the Agricultural Bank of China (Changsha Yuhua District Branch) on June 23, 2025, with a maturity date of June 22, 2028. Following these transactions, Tongcheng Industrial’s total pledged shares remain at 75,100,000, which, combined with affiliated party Tongcheng Holding's unpledged shares, represents 27.07% of their combined holdings and 1.87% of Bank of Changsha’s total share capital. The pledged shares will be used for Tongcheng Industrial's own funding needs.
