Angel Yeast to build biological intelligence manufacturing center

Angel Yeast Co., Ltd. (SSE:600298) announced plans to construct a Biological Intelligence Manufacturing Center, requiring an estimated investment of CNY 50,225 million. The project, approved by the company's board and pending shareholder approval, aims to integrate company and external resources to accelerate research and application of new technologies and processes. The center will facilitate the intelligent, green, and high-end transformation of Angel Yeast's bio-manufacturing industry and promote the development of agricultural microbial resources. Construction is slated to take 24 months, with completion expected in the second half of 2027. The project will include facilities for breeding, cell factory construction, intelligent fermentation, separation and purification, and analytical testing.
