Will Semiconductor rebrands as OmniVision Integrated Circuits Group

Shanghai-based Will Semiconductor has announced the completion of its corporate rebranding to OmniVision Integrated Circuits Group (豪威集成电路(集团)股份有限公司), effective June 20, 2025. The stock ticker symbol will change to align with the new company name. The Shanghai Stock Exchange ticker SSE:603501 will remain the same. This strategic shift follows Will Semiconductor's 2019 acquisition of OmniVision Technologies, a leading global image sensor designer. In 2024, image sensor solutions accounted for 74.76% of the company's CNY 19.19 billion in revenue. The change seeks to strengthen its brand, better reflect its business focus, and enhance market recognition for its strategic direction in image sensor, display, and analog solutions. This rebrand does not impact existing agreements or debts, which will be honored by OmniVision Integrated Circuits Group. In addition, OmniVision warned investors that the company's stock has been trading below 85% of the then-current conversion price for 10 trading days and may trigger a downward revision of the conversion price, but will carefully review and decide whether to implement the change.
