COSCO SHIPPING Development (SSE:601866) announced it repurchased 1,500,000 A-shares on the Shanghai Stock Exchange at prices ranging from RMB2.50 to RMB2.5033 per share, totaling RMB3,755,000. Separately, the company repurchased 5,000,000 H-shares on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange at prices ranging from HKD1.05 to HKD1.0561 per share, totaling HKD5,280,250. The company stated these repurchases are intended for future cancellation. Following these transactions, the company has repurchased a total of 223,401,000 H-shares, representing 6.07729% of issued shares as of June 28, 2024.
