Dongfang Electric adds proposal to 2024 AGM

Dongfang Electric announced that it will include an additional proposal at its upcoming 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) following a request from China Dongfang Electric Group Co., Ltd., which holds 52.29% of the company's shares. The proposal concerns the adjustment of the company's eleventh board of directors, specifically the recommendation of Luo Qianyi as a non-independent director, replacing Yu Peigen. The AGM is scheduled for June 24, 2025, and will also include meetings for A-share and H-share holders to vote on proposals including amendments to the company's articles of association and rules of procedure for shareholder meetings. The original AGM notice, released on June 4, 2025, remains unchanged except for the addition of this new proposal.
