CMES announces 2024 final dividend distribution

China Merchants Energy Shipping (CMES) has announced the implementation of its 2024 final equity distribution plan. The company will distribute a cash dividend of CNY 0.156 per share to A-share holders. The ex-right (ex-dividend) date and cash dividend distribution date are both set for June 19, 2025, with a record date of June 18, 2025. The total number of shares eligible for the dividend is 8,074,538,502, following the repurchase and cancellation of 69,267,851 shares in May 2025. Various tax implications apply to different types of shareholders, including individual investors, QFIIs, and investors holding shares through the Shanghai-Hong Kong Stock Connect.
