Juneyao Airlines reports passenger turnover up 4.97% in May

Juneyao Airlines (SSE:603885) announced a 4.97% year-on-year increase in passenger turnover (measured by revenue passenger kilometers) for May 2025. Overall capacity (available seat kilometers) increased by 0.46% compared to last year. The passenger load factor rose to 86.14%, a 3.70% increase year-on-year. While international routes saw significant growth in capacity (50.11%) and passenger turnover (66.68%), domestic routes experienced declines of 11.38% and 7.61% respectively. Cargo volume reached 13,745.97 tonnes, a 22.03% increase year-on-year. In May, Juneyao added a new round trip route from Hangzhou to Huizhou to Haikou. The airline operated 93 A320 series aircraft and 9 Boeing 787 series aircraft.
