Kweichow Moutai adjusts 2024 dividend payout per share

Kweichow Moutai (SSE:600519) announced an adjustment to its 2024 annual profit distribution plan, increasing the cash dividend to CNY 27.673 per share (inclusive of tax), up from the previously announced CNY 27.624. The adjustment comes as the number of shares held in the company's buyback account stood at 3,310,085 as of the announcement date, resulting in a total of 1,252,887,715 shares after deduction. The total cash dividend payout is now set at CNY 34,671,161,737.20 (inclusive of tax). The per share revision results from rounding the value to the nearest cent. The 2024 dividend distribution will be based on the total number of shares as of the record date for the distribution, net of the shares in the buyback account.
