Juneyao Airlines' controlling shareholder adjusts share pledge

Shanghai Juneyao Airlines (SSE:603885) announced that its controlling shareholder, Juneyao Group, has executed transactions involving the release and pledge of company shares. Specifically, Juneyao Group released 3.3 million shares from pledge, representing 3.23% of its holdings and 1.50% of Juneyao Airlines' total share capital. Concurrently, Juneyao Group pledged an equivalent number of shares. Following these transactions, Juneyao Group holds 1,020,862,080 shares, representing 46.42% of the company. The cumulative pledged shares amount to 81,275,000 shares, or 79.61% of Juneyao Group's holdings and 36.96% of Juneyao Airlines' total share capital. These pledges secure financing for Juneyao Group, with upcoming maturities of pledged shares within the next year, having an outstanding value of CNY 43.085 billion. The transactions are not expected to impact the airline's operations or governance.
