China CITIC Bank: Lu Wei's director qualification approved

China CITIC Bank Corporation Limited (SSE:601998) announced that the National Administration of Financial Regulation has approved the appointment of Lu Wei as an executive director, effective June 5, 2025. Lu Wei will also serve as the bank's president. While Lu Wei will not receive additional director compensation, he will be compensated according to his position. This decision was formalized following board approval. The bank's board currently has five committees: the Strategy and Sustainable Development Committee, the Audit and Related Party Transaction Control Committee, the Risk Management Committee, the Nomination and Remuneration Committee, and the Consumer Rights Protection Committee. The bank's board has eleven members, including Executive Directors Fang He Ying (Chairman), Lu Wei (President), and Hu Gang; Non-Executive Directors Huang Fang and Wang Yan Kang; and Independent Non-Executive Directors Liao Zi Bin, Zhou Bo Wen, Wang Hua Cheng, and Song Fang Xiu.
