Shandong Iron & Steel's major shareholder completes stake increase

Shandong Iron & Steel Co., Ltd. (SSE:600022) announced that its controlling shareholder, Shandong Iron & Steel Group, has completed its planned increase in the company's stake. From June 13, 2024, to June 10, 2025, Shandong Iron & Steel Group acquired a total of 400,349,301 shares, representing 3.74% of the company's total share capital, through centralized competitive bidding. The total investment amounted to CNY 500,076,010.98. With this increase, Shandong Iron & Steel Group's shareholding has risen to 6,291,946,717 shares, equivalent to 58.81% of the total share capital. Legal counsel has confirmed that the plan and its implementation align with all applicable regulations, and the move will not alter the company's controlling shareholder structure.
