Huayou Cobalt issues CNY 700m in ultra-short-term bonds

Zhejiang Huayou Cobalt (SSE:603799) has announced the successful issuance of its fourth ultra-short-term financing bonds for 2025, with a total issuance of CNY 700 million. These bonds, officially named "25 华友钴业 SCP004 (科创债)," have a term of 269 days and a face value of CNY 100 per bond, carrying an interest rate of 2.70%. The issuance was managed by a syndicate led by China CITIC Bank, utilizing book-building and centralized allocation in the national interbank bond market. The company intends to allocate the raised capital towards repaying outstanding interest-bearing liabilities. This bond issuance was approved at the company's 29th meeting of the sixth board of directors on April 17, 2025, and at the 2024 annual general meeting of shareholders on May 9, 2025.
