Power Construction Corp wins CNY6.28bn project

Power Construction Corporation of China announced that a consortium led by its subsidiary, China Water Resources and Hydropower Engineering Bureau 16 Co., Ltd., along with Fujian Yongfu Electric Power Design Co., Ltd., has won a major engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) contract. The project involves a 1 million kW / 6 million kWh power supply-side energy storage initiative in Ulanqab City, Inner Mongolia. The total contract value is approximately CNY6.28 billion, with CNY6.252 billion allocated to EPC and CNY0.30 billion for operations and maintenance over 20 years. The project construction is slated for 214 calendar days. The company cautions that the project is still subject to contract signing and carries uncertainties.
