ABC to hold 2024 AGM, proposes key governance changes

Agricultural Bank of China (ABC) [SSE:601288] will convene its 2024 Annual General Meeting (AGM) on June 27, 2025, to address crucial matters including the 2024 financial performance and propose key resolutions. Shareholders will vote on the board of director's report, supervisory board's report, financial statements, and profit distribution plan. ABC is also seeking shareholder approval for the appointment of KPMG as its auditor for the 2025 fiscal year and to set a budget of CNY15 billion for fixed-asset investments.
