Beiqi Foton Motor sales up 9.79% year-to-date

Beiqi Foton Motor (SSE:600166) reported a 9.79% year-on-year increase in total sales for the first five months of 2025, with cumulative sales reaching 274,635 vehicles compared to 250,156 vehicles in the same period last year. May sales totaled 49,604 units. New energy vehicle production experienced substantial growth, with a 167.66% increase, totaling 41,852 units year-to-date. Engine product sales, including Foton Cummins, decreased slightly by 0.82% to 113,207 units. Sales of medium and heavy-duty trucks saw an increase of 28.66%, while light passenger vehicle sales fell by 26.50%.
