CITIC Securities guarantees USD 4.5m subsidiary note issuance

CITIC Securities Co., Ltd. [SSE:600030] announced that its offshore wholly-owned subsidiary, CITIC Securities International, will guarantee a USD 4.5 million note issuance by its subsidiary, CSI MTN Limited. This issuance takes place under CSI MTN Limited’s existing USD 50 million medium-term note program established in March 2022. After this issuance, the total principal amount of notes issued under the program stands at USD 27.38 million, all guaranteed by CITIC Securities International. As of the announcement date, the total amount of guarantees provided by CITIC Securities and its subsidiaries reached CNY 1,677.15 million, representing 57.22% of the company's latest audited net assets.
