China Eastern Airlines elects Jie Xiaoqing as employee director

China Eastern Airlines Corp announced the election of Jie Xiaoqing as an employee director to the company’s tenth board of directors, effective May 30, 2025, until the term of the tenth board expires. The decision was made during the seventh session of the fourth employee representative meeting, which was held on May 30, 2025. Jie Xiaoqing also serves as the Chairman of the Trade Union of China Eastern Air Holding Company (and China Eastern Airlines), in addition to being the head of organization. Jie Xiaoqing, 59, has held various leadership roles within China Eastern, including General Manager of the Planning and Development Department and Deputy General Manager of China Cargo Airlines.
