Bright Dairy guarantees CNY 559m loan for subsidiary

Bright Dairy & Food (SSE:600597) announced it will guarantee a NZD 130 million loan (approximately CNY 559 million) for its wholly-owned subsidiary, Bright Dairy International. The loans, split between China Construction Bank (NZD 90 million) and Bank of China (NZD 40 million), will refinance existing debt and support Bright Dairy International's business development. As of April 30, 2025, Bright Dairy’s total assets stood at CNY 22.57 billion. The guarantee, approved by Bright Dairy's board, requires shareholder approval and will increase the company's total external guarantees to approximately CNY 725.498 million, representing 7.66% of its net assets attributable to shareholders.
